Global Psychological was founded in 2007.

Founder Anthony Pendleton wanted to help schools meet the critical needs of special education students. Global Psychological Global Psychological began when he discovered an opportunity to make use of his extensive skills and experience in providing specialized services. At the same time, this opportunity afforded the founder the means to meet several specific personal goals, including contributing to communities and enriching the lives of others.

Anthony Pendleton

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Pendleton is the founder, owner and CEO of Global Psychological, providing special education and at-risk services to charter schools since 2007. He is a School and Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience consulting and working cooperatively with school administrators, teachers, students and parents in providing prevention, assessment and intervention efforts. In addition to his work as a psychologist, Mr. Pendleton has contributed extensively, through collegiate and public and private school organizations, to seek out new ways to increase educational opportunities for urban and disadvantaged students. Mr. Pendleton holds an M.A. in School & Community Psychology and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Wayne State University. He is also a graduate of Word of Faith International Christian Center Kingdom Business Association, where he learned servant leadership and stewarding principles.

Courtney Halbower, M.A. CCC-SLP

Director of Speech Pathology & Occupational Therapy

Courtney holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University and a M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from Wayne State University. She brings nearly a decade of expertise and practice in the field of speech language pathology serving K-12 students in the metro Detroit area. Courtney serves on the board of directors for the Michigan Speech, Language and Hearing Foundation, she is the Member-at-Large for southeast Michigan to the Michigan Speech, Language and Hearing Association and she is also the Special Education Advocacy Leader (SEAL) for the state of Michigan to the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Brandon Masters, CPA

Director of Finance

Brandon received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College and promptly earned his Certified Public Accountant license. He brings nearly a decade’s worth of financial experience from both the private and public sectors, including school financial auditing. His strategic and pragmatic approach brings focus to the finance team and fortifies the success towards the company’s short and long-term goals.

Zach Donisch

Director of Operations and Strategy

Zach comes to Global Psychological with over fifteen years leading teams in for-profit and non-profit healthcare and social services organizations, and a degree in English Writing from DePauw University. He is passionate about data, processes and technology, and building aggressive and achievable growth strategies to complement the strengths of growing organisations.

Kari Olds

Director of Human Resources

Kari holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Art in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.  Kari has over 30 years of Human Resources experience, mostly in leadership roles.  Her focus is on business results through an organization’s human resources. Kari has worked in a variety of industries, including Software Development/Government Contracting, Medical Device, Commercial Insurance and Hospital/Healthcare (Long-term Care).  Kari currently sits on the Board of a Charter School and has served as the Secretary of a local SHRM chapter.
